Requirements:
Grade 12 and Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Public Management, Public Administration, Logistic Management, Finance Management with a minimum of three (3) or more years’ relevant experience in Public Service Supply Chain Department. Grade 12 with a minimum of five (5) or more years’ relevant experience in Public Service Supply Chain Management competencies and knowledge. Communication, both oral and writing. Client orientation and customer focus. Honesty and integrity. Service delivery innovation. problem solving and analysis. Organizing and ability to work under pressure. A valid drivers licence.
Must have knowledge of SCM procedure and Systems; The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, Public Financial management Act, Preferential procurement policy framework Act, Treasury Regulations, Preferential Procurement Regulation 2022, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and its code of good practice, and Public Service Regulatory Framework. Computer literate including knowledge of IT Transversal System such as BAS, SAP and SRM
Duties:
Implement procurement regulations, procuring of stock items according to procedure. Ensure purchase orders are created for all contracts such as security services etc. Monitor the sourcing of quotations from potential suppliers. Evaluation of quotations. Presenting of requests to the Quotation Adjudication committee for approval. Receive invoices from suppliers and transit. Check the invoices and the order to ensure that they correspond. Prepare payment documents and capture such payments into SAP. Prepare payment documents for sundry payments and submit to finance for processing.

Keeping records of all payment made. Prepare monthly reports relating to supply chain. Monthly reconciliation of the creditors statement. Attend to all payment queries. Compile relevant reports relating to bids and RFQ’s. Supervise, manage, and evaluate subordinates’ performance.
