Requirements

Grade 12 Certificate / level 4 Certificate/ National Vocational Certificate or equivalent. Good Communication skills. Knowledge of relevant Acts (PFMA, Treasury Regulations). Good computer skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines. Sound Interpersonal relations. Conflict management skill. Knowledge and application of provisioning administration guidelines. Two (2) years’ experience in Supply Chain will serves as advantage.

Duties:

Receive stock from suppliers and control the stock delivered with the Purchase Order and specifications. Assist in the maintenance of the transit diary distribution of documents, warehouse material and related items. Notify the Accounting and Supply Chain about stock received. by means of a goods receipt voucher. Check expiry date before receiving stock and that FIFO principle is adhered to.

Keep records of all deliveries and invoices before handing to the Finance department/Accounts payables. Control of Stock on the stock control card and Pricing. Pre-Posting of VA2’s before issuing to end-users. Registering requisitions for processing. Compiling of monthly expenditure reports. Issue stock and distribute stock items. Order stock items in line with the procurement policies and procedures. Correct packing of material in the stores. Assist in the regular updating and checking of bin cards. Keeping stores clean and tidy.
