Unisa Registration Dates for 2025. Unisa is the largest open distance learning institution in Africa, the longest standing dedicated distance education university in the world. They enroll nearly one-third of South African students.

Registration for Unisa’s undergraduate qualifications, honours degrees, and postgraduate diplomas will be open from 8 January to 21 February 2025 for semester modules and from 8 January to 31 March 2025 for year modules. Whether you’re a new student or continuing your studies, these are the dates you need to secure your place for the upcoming academic year.

For Master’s and Doctoral students, the registration period is also from 8 January to 31 March 2025, although there may be a few exceptions depending on the specific programme you’re applying for.

Note: Unisa is abbreviated for University of South Africa, you do not qualify to enroll with Unisa if you have failed Matric. Any Points less than -13 you do not qualify, you can either enroll at College or upgrade your major subjects.
