Fields of Study for Bursaries:
Silulumanzi invites students and undergraduates interested in joining the Water Industry to apply for their External Bursary Scheme in the following study fields:
- BSc Electrical Engineering (heavy/light current)
- BSc Chemical Engineering
- BSc Civil Engineering
- BSc Mechanical Engineering
- BSc Information Technology
- BSc Quantity Survey
- BSc Biology
- ND Environmental Science
- ND Water Care
- Fitting, including Machinery
- Millwright
- Fitter and Turner
- Instrumentation Mechanical
Requirements:
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 with a Bachelor Pass.
- Level 6 pass in Mathematics and Science.
- Proof of admission acceptance to a South African accredited tertiary institution.
- Proof of residence.
Preference will be given to:
- Previously disadvantaged individuals.
- People with disabilities and females.
- South African citizens within the contractual concession areas where Silulumanzi operates.
Bursary Coverage:
The bursary covers the following expenses:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Accommodation fees
- Prescribed books and study materials
Additional Information:
- Bursaries are awarded strictly on academic merit.
- The bursary is renewable annually, based on academic performance.
- Upon completion of their studies, students are required to join the organization as interns for a duration equivalent to the number of years they were sponsored.
How to Apply:
Bursary application forms can be obtained from the Silulumanzi Customer Care Offices in KaNyamazane, Matsulu, and Mbombela/Nelspruit. Completed application forms can be submitted by post to the Bursary Department, Human Resources, PO BOX 12753, Mbombela, 1200, or hand-delivered to any Silulumanzi Customer Care Offices in KaNyamazane, Matsulu, and Mbombela/Nelspruit.
