South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has unveiled the payment schedule for various grants and is encouraging beneficiaries to exercise responsible financial management. These grants are intended to support essential needs.
Reconfirm SASSA SRD R370 grant for April 2024
As part of the new SRD R370 application framework, all applicants are required to review their existing application via the online platform every three months. Here is how to Reconfirm SASSA SRD R350 grant at srd.sassa.gov.za;
- Visit the SRD website
- Scroll down to Reconfirm Grant Application.
- Click on the yellow bar that says “Click here to double check your existing applications”.
- Please enter your South African ID number
- Please enter your mobile phone number
- Click “Send SMS”
- Receive a one-time PIN (OTP) via SMS
- Put-in pin
- Click Confirm PIN
- Then follow all the required steps to complete the process
You can apply for a SASSA grant by visiting your nearest SASSA office and bringing your ID, proof of income and other relevant documents.

You can also apply online through the SASSA website. Under the new regulations, SRD beneficiaries had to reapply and ensure that they meet the new criteria for the monthly limit of R370 as of April 2024.
