POST 1: PROFESSIONAL NURSE [GENERAL WITH MIDWIFERY] GRADE 1 [SHIFTS] = 273 POSTS
Salary Notch: R293 670.00 p.a. plus 8 % of basic salary PSCBC or 12% of basic salary ISRDS Nodes rural allowance.
REQUIREMENTS
A) Qualifications and Competencies
- Basic R425 Qualification with Midwifery (Diploma or Degree in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
- Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Experience for Grade 1 (Minimum Notch): Less than 3 years’ appropriate/recognisable Nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Professional Nurse.
- South African Citizen or permanent resident
POST 2: STAFF NURSE GRADE 1 [SHIFTS] = 161 POSTS
Salary Notch: R199 725.00 p.a.
REQUIREMENTS
A) Qualifications and Competencies
- Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as State Nurse
- Current Registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse
- Experience for Grade 1 (Minimum Notch): Less than 5 years’ appropriate/recognisable Nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.
- South African Citizen or permanent resident
- Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness and ability to work shi4s / flexi hours including night duty, weekends and public holidays]. Willingness to work extra hours on short notice. Willingness and ability to perform overtime when the need arises.
- Skills declaration form to be attached
B) Knowledge and skills
- Basic Knowledge of laws that govern the profession.
- Basic Nursing skills
POST 3: NURSING ASSISTANT: GRADE 1 [SHIFTS] = 89 POSTS
Salary Notch: R157 761.00 p.a.
REQUIREMENTS

- Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
- Current Registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
- Experience for Grade 1 (Minimum Notch): Less than 3 years’ appropriate/recognisable Nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Nursing Assistant.
