Description

Purpose of the Job: The Trust is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applicants are invited to apply for the Policy Development Internship and unemployed graduates should be between the age of 18 and 35. The Internship program will run for a period of twelve (12) months.

Key Performance Areas:

Work based exposure may include the following

  • Tracking and monitoring of legislative and policy developments in South Africa and the SADC region
  • Identifying networks, stakeholders, and platforms to engage policy and decision makers
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to coordinate policy advocacy initiatives and events
  • Drafting of key legislative and/or policy documents
  • Compiling of monthly and quarterly reports

Qualifications and Experience.

  • Certified Grade 12/NQF 4 level certificates.
  • Certified Copy of Degree in Development Policy, Political Sciences, Economics or relevant Humanities or Social Sciences qualification.
  • Certified copy of your ID.
  • Certified copy of Academic Transcript.
  • Your CV and motivational letter.

Remuneration

The Interns will be awarded a monthly stipend
