At the beginning of the 2024-2025 Financial year, the Agency have announced the payment schedule for the year 2024. Here are payment dates for social grants:
JUNE 2024
- Older Persons Grants: Tuesday, 4 June 2024.
- Disability Grants: Wednesday, 5 June 2024.
- Children’s Grants: Thursday, 6 June 2024.
JULY 2024
- Older Persons Grants: Tuesday, 2 July 2024.
- Disability Grants: Wednesday, 3 July 2024.
- Children’s Grants: Thursday, 4 July 2024.
AUGUST 2024
- Older Persons Grants: Friday, 2 August 2024.
- Disability Grants: Monday, 5 August 2024.

The Social Relief of Distress Grant (SRD) will remain R370 and recipients are urged to use the status check feature on the official SASSA website to track their application approvals, payout dates and appeals.
