Requirements

Welder

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

  • Grade 12 (Technical qualification will be advantageous)
  • At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • Pre-employment medical required and be physically fit
  • Valid drivers license
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols
  • Good knowledge of tools and lubrication process
  • Trade tested Welder

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional workmanship standards at all times
  • Strictly adhere to applicable quality assurance and procedures
  • Repair equipment as well as delivery truck fleet within specification and agreed repair times
  • Conduct troubleshooting, fault finding and maintenance equipment
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timeous job card feedback and repair reports are maintained
  • Perform machine inspections equipment as well as compile backlog list
  • Supervise assistants to carry out first line of maintenance tasks
  • Managing and maintaining tools in good serviceable conditions
  • Use personal protective equipment in accordance with the policies and prescriptions.
  • To work overtime when required, provided such requirement is reasonable and within the law.

Diesel Mechanic

  • Perform machine inspections on earthmoving equipment and delivery truck fleet as well as compile backlog list

Key Accounts Sales Manager

Responsibilities include (but not limited to the following):

  • Customer retention and growing of customer base.
  • Budget preparations and customer price reviews.
  • Compile daily sales reports.
  • Nurture good relationships with internal sales clerk, plant, production, and dispatch teams.
  • Preparation of sales quotes.
  • Bi-weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Manage and liaise with transport vendors.
  • Execute all agreed projects and / or carry out ad hoc assignments.

Minimum Experience & Key Requirements:

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Relevant Diploma/Degree would be advantageous.

Senior Software Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

Afrimat is currently seeking the services of a Senior Developer with end to end development skills. The successful candidate
will be responsible for designing software solutions and creating scope with the customers requirements, actively programming
to scope requirements, and deploying the software solution from development to Production environments. Maintenance of
existing systems and integrations.

  • Full Stack Developer with proficiency in C# and T-SQL.
  • Clear communication skills to be able to advise customers on possible right fit solutions.
  • Agile, inviting scope changes, and helping customer reach a solution.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a small team.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle process.
  • Experience in system architechture and integration.
  • Understanding the requirements then coding, testing and debugging before rolling out to the users.
  • Identifying production and non-production application issues
  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Liaising with customers in scoping requirements.
  • Raising concerns with designs and identifying areas of improvement in the software delivery process.
  • Supporting legacy systems while transitioning to newer technologies
  • Lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers
  • Conduct Code reviews and identify potential issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and coding practices

Minimum Qualification/ Experience:

  • BSc Computer Science or similar tertiary qualification.
  • At least 7 years’ worth of professional development experience
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills.
  • Proven ability to leverage the Microsoft suite to build capabilities and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in C# with at least 5 years solid exposure at an academic or professional level.
  • Experience in Web Development (including front-end and back-end development) is required.
  • Skilled in C#, ASP.NET MVC/.NET Core, Entity Framework (or similar ORM) for SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., HTMX/React, Angular), HTML5, and building RESTful API’s.
  • Advantageous: Razor pages, Entity Framework, Azure experience, Links to StackOverflow, GitLab and/or, Linux, Ubuntu, VPS, Apache
  • The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act.
