Register your cv with Employment and Labour. The Department of Employment and Labour invites unemployed South Africans to register their CVs on ESSA system.

Register your cv with Department of Employment and Labour

To register the Department of Employment and Labour will need a few things in order for them to verify your profile.

The system requires you to provide your surname, your 13 digit Identity Number and an email address.

If you do not have an email address you can get one for free from online services; for example webmail, gmail or yahoo.

For such reasons as not haveing an Identity number or your registration is unsuccessful, you will need to visit your closest Department of Home Affairs office to apply for or verify you Identity Number.

Once you have registered successfully your username and password will be emailed to you.

Individuals

Are you an individual that is looking for a learning or work opportunity?

The essa website will help. Once you have registered and logged in you will be able to search on database for available positions.

How to register

You can register your CV by emailing it to pes@labour.gov.za or nearest labour office or online on the ESSA website.

If this is your first visit please create your profile by clicking the link on the left hand panel ‘REGISTER INDIVIDUAL

Once you have captured your CV the recruitment system will help to match you to potential employers.

For Organizations or Companies:

The duly authorised person acting on behalf of your organisation must register as an Individual first, and once the authorised person logs in he/she will be able to link to your organisation with your UIF reference number.

Your organisation will be able to post opportunities and receive CV’s of matched individuals based on your opportunity criteria.
