Rand Water is recruiting Personal Assistant (x1 Post)

Rand Water is currently looking for a Personal Assistant the incumbent will provide an effective and efficient personal assistance, secretarial and administrative support to the Head Rand Water Institute (HRWI) in relation to all functions in the Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification essential .                              
• Administration, Secretarial or HR Diploma.
• 10 years’ experience in an Administrative environment with office administration, personal assistance and  secretarial experience.
• Computer literacy.

Primary Duties

• Provide an effective and efficient personal assistance, secretarial and administrative support to the Head Rand Water Institute in relation to all functions in the Business Unit.
• Evaluate and submit reports to different internal and external structures and committees.
• Manage the diaries of the HRWI and senior managers and co-ordinate arrangements related to this function.
• Compile and type meeting packs, minutes of meeting, management reports, etc.
• Co-ordinate all logistical arrangements for meetings, functions and other adhoc functions (internal and external) including travel arrangements.
• Undertake a variety of administrative tasks within general guidelines.
• Limit and control access to personal information in line with organisational policies and procedures.
