PROJECT SUPPORT CLERK: ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES REF NO: TPW 116/2021 (X2 POSTS)
SALARY : R173 703 per annum (Level 05)


CENTRE : Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government
REQUIREMENTS : Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Recommendation: Relevant administrative experience in Biz-Projects, e-Works, Basic Accounting System (BAS), My Content and SITS. Competencies: A good understanding of the following: Application of relevant legislation; Proven computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Projects); Communication (verbal and written) skills; Record keeping, Meeting deadlines and ability to work under pressure; Ability to work independently and in team.


DUTIES : Render administrative and reception assistance to professionals and staff regarding filing; Government motor vehicle transport (GG), telephone accounts and invoices; Assist with the ordering and issuing of stationary; Assist with asset management and furniture move contract; Dairy management and facilitating of appointments; Compiling and processing of claims and payments; Assist with the copying, filing, faxing and scanning of documentation within the component; Draft and type submissions, default letters, arrange meetings and agenda’s and taking of minutes and general correspondence; Data capturing; Relieve as secretary; Coordination of training for professional staff; Making travel arrangements.
