Here’s How to Change SASSA SRD Phone Number without Application ID for Social Relief of Distress grant in South Africa.

Change your SRD grant phone number with SASSA. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) provides the Social Relief of Distress (SRD), which is a monthly assistance to low-income people in South Africa. Currently, the amount is R350 per month. If you need to update your phone number for SRD support without SRD application ID, follow these steps.

Here’s How to Change SASSA SRD Phone Number without Application ID

To update your contact information on Sassa;

  • Visit the SASSA website link: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/.
  • Scroll down to find the option to change your contact information.
  • On the yellow bar that says, “Click here to change your cell phone number.” Select that bar, and
    you will be taken to another page.
  • Then enter your application ID and Submit the form.
  • You will then be asked for your contact information. Please add your own email address.
  • State the reason for changing your contact information.
  • On the new phone number you entered, you will receive an OTP via SMS.
  • Enter the OTP in the bar and tap “submit.”

Note. If you have an App ID, you can use it to change your phone number by following the steps above.
