COVID-19 Youth Brigades Programme.
Eastern Cape unemployed youth are invited to register on the Amathuba Job Portal ( http://www.amathuba.ecdpw.qov.za )and apply for placement In the COVID-19 Youth Brigades Programme. Participants In the Programme will be performing the following functions:
- Maintain OHS requirements.
- Screen and record all personnel and clients entering our all state buildings and/ project sites.
- Maintenance of hygiene in all state buildings and;
- Disinfect Fumigate and Fogg state buildings as and when requir..
The programme will run for a period of six (6) months. The successful applicants will be placed into Department of Public Works and Infrastructure Facilities and Construction Projects.
1. HEALTH AND SAFETY REPRESENTATIVES (18 OPPORTUNITIES).
STIPEND PER MONTH: R4 000.00
REQUIREMENTS FOR SELECTION:
- Minimum qualification — Certificate on OHS or Environmental Health/ Management.
- A 1-year Diploma in HeaIth and Safety or Environmental Health/ Management will be
added advantage. - Declaration of Health will be sign. with the selected Participants.
2. MONITORS (694 OPPORTUNITIES).
STIPEND PER MONTH: R3 500.00
REQUIREMENTS FOR SELECTION:
- Minimum qualification — Grade 12 Certificate .
- A 1-year Diploma or Degree will be added advantage.
- Declaration of Health will be signed with the selected Participants.
