Requirements:

A Grade 12 Certificate. Computer literacy. Good communication skills, good customer relations. Must be able to rotate to different areas of responsibility. Knowledge of SAP (HIS) and BAS system. Knowledge of Batho Pele principles, UPFS and all policies in Finance Department, General Administrative. Experience in health finance will be added as an advantage.

Duties:

Billing, Filling, Petty Cash, Main Cashier Rolles, Sub-Cashier Rolles and updating patient information. Debt collection, write-offs, journals, adjustments, and allocation of payments. Attending workshops, meetings and training as required. Perform duties as accordance with job description and any other work duties as delegated.

Food Service Manager

Requirements:

Grade 12 / NQF level 4 Certificate plus National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Food Service Management. A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a supervisor in a food Service department. Computer literacy (Ms. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Good verbal and written communication skills, Good interpersonal skills, and excellent report writing skills.

Duties:

Direct supervision of food service department staff. The planning of all menus for all diets, ordering of supplies, control of the storage and issuing of stock. Planning of the food budget and control of the food expenditure by means of cost-effective measures and the implementation of prescribed procedures. In-service training of food service staff performance management and development systems for staff.

Implementation of Legislative Framework (Acts and regulations) in relation to food service, stock control, monitoring and managing food service activities. To liaise with the hospital dietician on nutrition. Provide Leadership to food service aid supervisors. Ensure cleanliness in the food area, and ensure effective measures are implemented. Contract employees on PMDS and conduct mid-year reviews and annual assessment. Develop Standard Operational Plan and Implement Labour Relations Policy.

Perform all the administrative functions required, give feedback and monthly reports to the Clinical Manager. Compile induction programme and be involved in the implementation process. Assist with ongoing staff development and facilitate student training. Implement quality assurance processes and evaluate compliance to the Ideal Hospital Framework. Engage in meetings with other disciplines and ensure that they are informed about Food Service practices. Actively take part in hospital activities and committees.

DIAGNOSTIC RADIOGRAPHER GRADE 1

Requirements:

Grade 12 with National Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography Qualification. Current registration as an independent diagnostic radiographer. Relevant experience required after registration with the HPCSA as an independent diagnostic radiographer. Must have completed community service as per requirements of the professional body. Computer knowledge, time management, communication (written& verbal) and report writing skills.

Good interpersonal relations. Knowledge of Public Service legislation, Policies and Procedures. Knowledge and relevant experience in radiographic procedures, Quality Control and Record keeping processes is essential. Willingness to work after-hour shifts as and when required. Current registration with HPCSA.

Duties:

Participate in providing 24-hour Radiographic services at South Rand Hospital and in the cluster as when needed. Be part of the stand-by allocation or roster. Advise the management in Radiographic planning and implementation for service improvement. To adhere to Batho Pele Principles, Regulated Norms and Standards and Ideal Hospital Realisation and Maintenance framework, PMDS Quality Assurance and other associated Public Service policies Acts.

Manage conflict and implement corrective measures as and when necessary. Carry out duties delegated by the Supervisor. Must be a team player within the institution. Perform and ensure that prescribed Quality Assurance/Control protocols are adhered to. Perform any adhoc duties as allocated by . Be actively involved in in-service training and CPD activities.
