Requirements :
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Relevant qualification at NQF level 6 will be an added advantage. Exposure to the Public Health Sector Hospital environment will be an added advantage. Have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Have good computer skills. The applicants must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and sometimes under pressure. The ability to use HIS system will be an added advantage. Knowledge of Batho-Pele Principles and Ideal hospital realization.
Duties :
- Retrieve patient files as requested. Sorting of patients’ files and files them accordingly. Renew worn out files for patients and make volumes of files thicker than 3cm. Create space for new files by selecting inactive files and prepare them for disposal. Tracing of missing files. Collecting patients’ files from pharmacy, casualty, wards for filing. Retrieve files requested by accounts’ department, wards, and staff. Keep movement register for files issued to internal/external stakeholders. Reducing of patient waiting times in admission. Provide effective and efficient service to the patient and staff. Keep the working area in order and clean. Perform any other official duties delegated by the supervisors.
