After the President lifted the state of emergency, the new R350 COVID-19 Social Relief Grant (SRD) payment arrangement was applied. To continue to receive the grant, it was a previous requirement that the beneficiaries must update their details every three months.
SASSA SRD R350 Grant Reconfirmation is part of the framework governing the new SRD R350 application, all applicants must confirm their existing applications every three months through the online platform.

Please remember that if your personal information or financial situation has changed after you applied for an SRD grant, you must update your information on the SRD website.
How to Reconfirm Your Sassa R350 Grant Application
- Visit https://srd.sassa.gov.za for confirmation
- Under the subheading, click “reconfirm existing application”
- Please note that this is only for those who received the SRD R350 Grant in the previous cycle.
- The applicant must select Apply if he or she is new to the process.
It also states that current applicants can also update their grant applications on the SRD website at any time if their circumstances change or errors are corrected.
Sassa has provided financial aid grants to the most vulnerable people in society to help them meet their basic needs since 2005. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the R350 SRD grant has been a safety net for thousands of low-income, unemployed and disabled South Africans.
