University of Johannesburg is accepting Late Applications for 2024

University of Johannesburg (UJ) is currently accepting late applications for 2024 academic year. The Institution is in Johannesburg Gauteng South Africa and offers undergraduate, postgraduate, online studies to students.

Qualifying candidates who want to enquire whether UJ still has space in a particular qualification or want to change to another course must use the late application enquiry system from 19 January 2024 at 20:00pm. The application window is now available until the 25th of January 2023 at 14:00.

It’s not compulsory for Applicants to visit any campus to confirm their final application status. If you have not received sms or e-mail within 5 working days from the release of the final grade 12 results from UJ, then please verify your application status here.

One of the popular challenge faced by many South Africans residents, is not knowing how to apply for courses at the University of Johannesburg. This article will guide you through on how you can apply at UJ efficiently. Here is how to apply:

New/Previous application confirmation:

  • If you have not applied at UJ, the system will indicate whether you qualify for any available qualification.
  • If you have previously applied at UJ for the 2023 Academic year the system will indicate your application status for the qualification(s) you have applied for.
  • If you have a positive application status and you are happy with your qualification choice, click on registration information to get all the details regarding registrations (please note that only applicants with an admitted status will be allowed to continue with registration).
  • If you are not happy with your current qualification click on the change qualification button.

Guide for International Applicants:

Complete the online application form by following instructions below.

  • Submit a completed application form with supporting documents together with a non-refundable application fee of R200.00
  • Online applications are free
  • Supporting documents maybe uploaded on the application platform or emailed to intappsdocs@listsrv.uj.ac.za
  • If you are a current student still to complete a pre-requisite qualification or your Final academic transcript if studies have been completed.
  • Valid Passport or Identity Document.
  • Sworn English Translation of documents (Documents issued in any Language other than English)
  • Provide proof of the English Proficiency where English was not used as a medium of lecturing (the University prefers the applicant to take the IELTS at an overall score of 7 and TOEFL at an average score of 105–120 for Postgraduate programmes) Alternatively, you may elect to write the University of Johannesburg English Language Programme Test (UJELP).
