Requirements :

NQF level 3 / Grade 10/Abet level 4 or Equivalent. Able to work under pressure. Ability to read and write. Reliable and have excellent communication skills. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks within given timeframes.

Good planning and decision-making abilities. Physically agile with the capacity to remain active for extended periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Client orientation and Customer focus. Must be computer literate.

Duties :

Maintain an effective & efficient messenger services. Delivery and collection of documents from in and around the institution. Collect, record, and distribute correspondence using the approved file plan for office. Collect quotations for demand at Govt Print Works in PTA. Clarify scheduled and anticipated deliveries before each day begins.

Fetching, checking, and signing for parcels at their respective collection points. Taking special care to load parcels and documents, into a bag or vehicle in a safe manner. Devising and choosing the most effective routes to distribute documents.

Transporting items to drop-off points. Answering recipients’ questions about the demand management process. Ensuring that recipients sign all relevant documentation upon delivery. Checking that all work is completed for the day. Advising line manager of deliveries that could not be fulfilled. Application of Batho Pele principles.
