SASSA is responsible for distributing social grants on behalf of the Department of Social Development. How much is SASSA Grant Increase 2024 New Amounts?
The 2024 SASSA grant increases have brought some relief to South Africa’s grant recipients. Here are the grant details:
- Old-Age Pension Grants: Increased to R2090 for recipients aged 60 to 74, and R2110 for those over 75.
- Disability Grant: Increased to R2090.
- Child Support Grant: Now R510.
- Foster Child Grant: Raised to R1130.
- Child Care Dependency Grant: Now R2090.
- War Veterans Grant: Increased to R2110.
- Grant-In-Aid: Now R510.
- Child Support Grant Top-Up: Remains unchanged at R250 for 2024.
