The Eastern Cape Department of Community Safety invites qualified candidates to apply for the Data Capturer position at their Bhisho office. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work in a government setting, ensuring data is accurately managed and secured.

- Salary Range: R183,279 to R215,892 per annum (Level 04)

Minimum Requirements
- Qualification: National Senior Certificate
- Experience: No prior experience required, but exposure to a data-related environment will be advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
Applicants should have:
- Basic knowledge of analyzing raw data
- Understanding of computer hardware and software
- Ability to manage files and records
- Familiarity with designing forms and backup systems
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Capturer, your duties will include:
Data Capturing Services
- Receive and record data
- Enter data from available records into formats such as databases, tables, and spreadsheets
Data Verification Services
- Verify and address any missing data or errors during data entry
- Review and validate all data for accuracy

Data Management Services
- Make regular backups of data
- Update registers and statistics
Record-Keeping Services
- Maintain and secure records and files
- Ensure information is well-organized and easily accessible
