Gauteng Department of Health: Material Recording Clerk Position

Requirements :

  • A minimum Grade 12 or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of procurement government systems , policies and procedures such as PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE and Treasury Regulations. A guide for accounting officers/authorities, all SCM practice Notes and all related prescripts. Good communication, verbal and non-verbal. Ability to work under pressure. Computer literacy is essential.

Duties :

  • Advertising of Bids / Quotation for goods and services in line with Supply chain Management policies and procedures . Maintain and keep records of all transaction made during acquisition of goods and services . Ensure that all responsive suppliers has submitted completed required statutory standards bids forms/documents together with their offer . Ensure product assessment form for samples are done timeously by the relevant end-user. Ensure drawing of suppliers reports from CSD (central suppliers data base ) system is done within stipulated time frames . Ensure compulsory Site briefing is conducted within stipulated time frames of the advert , attendance register and minute are kept. .Compilation of submission on finalized request for quotation (RFQ ) document for bid/quotation evaluation & adjudication committees. Prepare and submit approved request for quotation( RFQ) file to buying section for creation of purchase order.
