Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel. Good communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to take initiative and be a team player. Ability to analyze statistics and to work under pressure. Knowledge of the DHIS software and Tier.net A valid drivers’ license

Duties :

  • Facilitate roll out DDC (Daily Data Capturing) onto web-based DHIS to all facilities within Johannesburg Health District.
  • Monitor and Report District performance against set targets. Train data capturers and managers on District Health Information Management System (DHIMS) Policy and DHIMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide data feedback to mangers at various levels management structures within the stipulated timeframes.
  • Participate in data quality management by performing systems verifications, data quality verification and control measures. Complete daily, weekly, monthly reporting templates accurately and submitting timeously.
  • Support facilities to address emerging data management challenges. Follow up on incomplete and incorrect data and monitor their correction on the DHIS. Maintain and update all relevant reports. Support all facilities on any data related issues.
