Fundraising Internships
Stipend: R4,027 per month
Location: All Provinces

In this role, you will gain working experience in the following areas:
●Working in a tech startup environment
●Working in the higher education NGO sector
●Fundraising: Corporate and Individual donors
●General admin
●Data analytics
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
Corporate and Trusts and Foundation giving
●Searching online and offline resources to identify potential businesses
funders the organisation can approach.
●Participating in prospect meetings by presenting information on your
researched prospects.
●Updating the corporate analytics report under the guidance of the
Business Partnership Coordinator
●Ensuring that the Corporate Prospects and Researching sheet is up to
date and has all the relevant information under the guidance of the
Business Partnership Coordinator.
●Contributing to organisational intelligence and analytics.
●Update Corporate and Trusts and Foundationrelatedprojects on the
project management tool.
Individual giving
●Updating the donor details on the Customer Relationship Management
platform.
●Tracking, reviewing and storing student gratitude letters.
●Supporting individual fundraising-related projects on the project
management tool.
●Proposing students to create content for use on social media and other
platforms.
General departmental support
●Ad hoc office administration
●Event and campaign support
●Assisting other departments with fundraising-related queries
Candidate requirements
The 12-month paid internship is an exciting opportunity that will suit
someone who is looking to gain working experience in a non-profit
environment has a keen interest in the higher education sector or is
intrigued by the tech startup environment. The ideal candidate should be
able to commit to completing the entire internship programme.
