Requirements:
• Grade 12 qualification (Mathematics and Physical Science
preferred)
• 18 years or older
• Must not suffer from fear of confined spaces or heights
• Must be medically and physically fit
• Must be able to work in a team and cope with stressful situations
• No Criminal Record
• Successfully complete the Firefighter 1NFPA 1001, Hazmat
Awareness NFPA 1072, Hazmat Operations NFPA 1072 and First Aid
Level 3 courses presented by the learning institution

To become a library member, you will need to apply for membership at a library with your ID and proof of residence.
Certified copies of qualifications must be available on request.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed via SMS or telephonically when to report to the identified venue to complete the compulsory tests. Shortlisted candidates are advised to bring their own gear, food and refreshments to the testing venue.
All assessments are done by means of a process of elimination Only applicants with no criminal record and no pending criminal cases, awaiting trial and/or pending sentencing cases will be considered for employment.
