Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric or Senior Certificate
- Diploma of Degree in Marketing
Job Specification…
Marketing, Planning & Execution:
- Assist in the conducting effective marketing campaigns to promote brand awareness to consumers for the Dis-Chem group.
- Assist in ensuring that the broadsheets are in line with the business strategy as outlined by line manager (pagination, literals, offers layout and creative).
- Assist in conducting the briefing and reviewing of all Point of Sale (POS) material (Oval Stands, Roof Posters, Gondola Ends, Shelf Signage, Window Posters, Barrier Sleeves, and additional collateral),
- Assist in briefing and reporting back on social and/or digital media elements
Marketing Operations:
- Assist the Marketing Team Leader with ensuring working timelines with the team are met, to ensure POS content is signed off and printed in time.
- Assist Marketing Team Leader in executing advertising/marketing around new store openings which includes ROPs, Radio – Media and PR
- Assist with Digital, Social and OOH campaigns
Stakeholder Partnership:
- Assist the Marketing Team Leader in checking-in with line managers to ensure all partners, clinic, foundation, and dispensary advertising requirements are executed via the advertising channels.
- Meet with Category Buyers throughout each promotion where necessary to ensure their departments advertising needs are met
- Ensure all promotional items are signed off both by category management and respective suppliers before print date.
Generation Administration:
- Assist in the administration and reporting of the marketing campaigns, events, launches and adhoc campaigns and proposals.
- Ensure Administration of sponsorships and events management – Brand launches
- Update and maintain the marketing database
