SASSA beneficiary categories include;
1. Elderly People Grant
Any South African of 60 years or older who cannot work or make a living is eligible to benefit from this grant and are encouraged to apply. From 60 years old to 75 years old elderly people gets payed R2 080, while their seniors of above 75 years of age gets R2 100.
2. Disability grant.
Conditions to eligibility for this grant is that you should have lost ability (or never had) to work for minimum of six (6) months due to physical or mental handicap, and the eligibility will be consider permanent is the illness remains for a minimum duration of a year. The amount for this beneficiary category is R2 080.
3. Child Support Grant
To be eligible, you must will be scrutinized to check if you are not earning above threshold amount, also you have to be the kid’s primary caregiver, which might be a parent, grandparent, or child over 16 heading the household. Each child will get R500 each month from you.
4. SRD Grant (commonly referred to as R350)
You have to be between the age of 18 and 60 to qualify. Other qualifications are that you must be a South African, asylum seeker, refugees, and holders of special permits.

Where do I receive my SASSA payment?
