MICT SETA: Learnership Programme 2023
MICT SETA in partnership with Deviare is offering young, unemployed candidates an opportunity to participate in their 12-month Data Science Practitioner learnership.
This programme will be hosted on-site and under the guidance of Deviare in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, and will lead to global virtual work experience, once completed.
The MICT SETA plays a pivotal role in achieving South Africa’s skills development and economic growth within the sub-sectors it operates namely; Advertising, Film and Electronic Media, Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications.
MICT SETA is the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority.
Requirements:
- Unemployed youth aged 18 – 35 years
- South African citizens
- Must reside in or around Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)

A Learnership is a work-based education and training programme that is linked to a qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
