REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Driver’s License (Added Benefit)
  • Current and Valid Registration with HPCSA as (BAA / ILS / ECT / ECA)
  • Candidates will be assessed with a formal written test, Interview
  • Valid RSA ID Document

DUTIES:

  • Ensure compliance with all policies and standard operating procedures of the Department of Health and Gauteng EMS
  • Ensure attendance to all dispatched emergency calls timeously.
  • Ensure adherence to EMS and HPCSA procedures.
  • Attend to emergency incidents, coordinate and treat patients and other emergencies within the operational area.
  • Undertake any other duties as allocated by management
  • Maintain a high standard of customer etiquette and communication medium with customers or clients.
  • Ensure the station is compliant to EMS regulations
  • Attend trainings identified by employer
