Key Performance Area: Oversee fleet management. Maintain the physical security function including key control, personnel, document, and surveillance security. Oversee maintenance of buildings and premises. Assess and report on the condition of the infrastructure. Technical evaluation of professional service providers’ and contractors’ bids. Supervise the service providers to deliver the preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance program for the College infrastructure. Efficiently attend to all maintenance requests and infrastructure facility management in the operational standards and ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of the assets.  Compile annual maintenance plan for the College. Submit monthly and quarterly capital infrastructure efficiency grants report to DHET. Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces.  Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure completion of performance agreements by all employees in the unit, Supervision of staff. Liaise with external and internal auditors; Resolution of internal and external audit queries; Implementation of internal and external audit recommendations. Develop fleet and infrastructure policies and procedures. Contributes to the preparation of the Annual Report. Perform any other duties delegated by the Supervisor.

Requirements: An appropriate Senior National Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) Level 4. A recognized Bachelor’s Degree/ National Diploma in Project Management/Business Management/ Business Administration or any relevant equivalent qualification. At least Two (2) years relevant working experience in skills development and or project management environment. Candidates that have experience in secretarial/administration function in large projects, portfolios of projects and/or programmes in the private or public sector will have an added advantage. Good knowledge of the Post-School Education and Training system will also be an added advantage. Ability to analyse, interpret policies and develop proposals and Memorandum of Understanding. Must be a good communicator with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders. Further skills requirements relate to technical proficiency, information management, administrative organizing, problem-solving and analysis, report writing, minutes writing, marketing and communication, knowledge management, quality management, budgeting and financial management, human resource management, change management and stakeholder engagement and management. Key Performance Arears: Recruitment of learners. Administer the induction of learners. Ensuring portfolio of evidence of facilitators/learners are compiled for compliance with the Quality Councils. Ensure that assessment reports received are processed and safely filed. Ensure that the leaners are registered and assessment results are uploaded on the SETA/QCTO information systems. Identify relevant workplaces and ensure compliance with SETA/QCTO requirements. Handling the certification of learners with the relevant ETQA. Conduct monitoring during theory and workplace learning. Prepare invoice for the funders. Consolidating reports for monthly or scheduled reporting. Assist in the compilation of report on finances of the project to funder. Prepare draft Memorandum of Understanding/Agreement (MoU/MoA) or Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for service providers. Assist to verify alignment of final implementation plan/business plan of the approved project versus the approved project budget. Assist in administering the initiation change request related to approving projects through the applicable change request process. Timely submit reports and make presentations as required. Ensure that all documentation and information related to projects and programmes initiation and evaluation are submitted for knowledge management purposes. Manage and engage with internal/external stakeholders relevant to the initiation and evaluation of projects. Main purpose of the Job: The Marketing Officer is responsible for the overall marketing of the CfERI. He/she will be responsible for maintaining the CfERI website and all social media platforms of the centre. Responsible for graphic designing, managing enquiries generated from the website and social media platforms. They are also required to assist the CfERI clients in all areas of marketing their businesses.

Assist with drafting and compiling letters, submissions, memos, and other official correspondence. Keeping track of submissions forwarded to the section. Distribute, record, and update the register of incoming and outgoing correspondence. Assist with audit requests. Handle enquiries from various stakeholders, coordinate meetings and arrange the logistics timeously in preparation for the meetings, travelling and accommodation.
