Requirements :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification, National Diploma in Information Technology. Minimum of one (1) year IT experience in public sector with Desktop, LAN, and WAN support. A+, N+ Certificate and MCSA or MCSE will be added as advantage.

Duties :

  • Receive calls, make an initial assessment of a fault, and provide first line support. Follow up on status and feedback to users, resolve all helpdesk issues. Close calls upon confirmation with users. Maintain an effective filling system for audit trails and incidents reports. Provide assistance to users on how to access and utilize local internet and web. Assist setting up virtual meetings and creating personal folders on outlook. Assist in the cleaning up and archiving user mailboxes. Troubleshoot local and network print device problems. Mapping of network drives.
