Core Responsibilities
Visitors
- Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit; issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs; alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee
- Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources, for example on the organisation’s location, hours of operation, phone numbers, or email address
Phone Calls
- Receive phone calls and re-direct callers to the desired recipients
- Take and distribute accurate messages
Office/Admin Support
- Book conference rooms and ensure proper equipment is available (projectors, flipcharts, pens and paper)
- Send, receive and distribute mail, courier packages
- Order office supplies, re-stock supply rooms
Academic Background:
Grade 12
Technical Skills
- Fluent English
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
