ETDP SETA: Internships 2023 / 2024. The ETDP SETA needs to employ two suitably qualified graduates for the internship program with the essential attributes, skills and necessary qualifications, placed in the Marketing and Communication Unit and the Research Unit.

Intern: Content Developer
Salary: R 7 500 per month (Total-Cost-To-Company)
Job Purpose: To develop content for the ETDP SETA in a professional manner, for publishing internally and externally, using the various communication platforms. The successful incumbent will be based in the ETDP SETA Head Office in Johannesburg and report to the Head of Department, Marketing and Communication.
Writer and Content Developer x 1 intern:
- The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure
- Good project management skills
- Have the ability to perform Auditing of existing institutional knowledge and taking stock of the critical roles in each unit/department of the organisation by creating a collective set of facts, concepts, physical manuals, files, etc. within the ETDP SETA in order to
- Create an easy process for knowledge capture
- Encourage and model continuous knowledge sharing and management
- Build a culture of learning and sharing
- Create clear, transparent and accessible communication channels
- Secretariat for Teacher Education Development projects
- Develop content based material for the organisation
- Minute taking
- Report-writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of stakeholder relations
- Develop content for the organisation social media pages and the monitoring thereof
The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:
Qualifications and experience:
- Honour’s degree (equivalent to NQF level 8) in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations Education Training and Development, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development or Social Sciences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Minute writing for all meetings
- Proof reading of documents
- Prepare packs for the various meetings
- Prepare presentations as directed by manager
- Prepare reports as directed by manager
- Organize venues for meetings
- Aid with unit administrative functions
- Establish a working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in education, training and development programs, workshops, and seminars
- Perform any other administrative duties assigned by the Line Manager.
