The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has recently confirmed grant payment dates for July 2025.
Due to safety reasons, SASSA reminds beneficiaries not to withdraw all their grant money at once.
Grant beneficiaries can expect payments in early July 2025, with Older Persons Grants on July 2, Disability Grants on July 3, and Children’s Grants on July 4. SASSA urges all recipients to verify their payment method and stay updated on any possible changes.
SASSA grant payment dates for July 2025
Beneficiaries can expect payment on the following days:
- Older persons – 2 July 2025
- Disability grant – 3 July 2025
- Children’s and all other grants – 4 July 2025
Grants can be received directly from a personal bank account or SASSA card.
Beneficiaries can alternatively collect their grants at authorized pay points.

According to the revised 2025 Budget, the new payment amounts are:
- Old Age Grant: R2,315
- War Veterans Grant: R2,335
- Disability Grant: R2,315
- Care Dependency Grant: R2,315
- Foster Child Grant: R1,250
- Child Support Grant: R560
- Grant-in-Aid: R560
- Social Relief of Distress Grant: R370
