POST: DATA CAPTURER: DEPT OF HEALTH 2022
Requirements :
- Grade 12 / senior certificate or equivalent qualification with at least one year experience in the public service. Computer literacy, with certificate, in MS Excel, Ms Word and Power Point, etc. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to interpret data, Analytical and numerical skills, Good planning, organization, communication, reporting skills, and record keeping skills. Knowledge of DHIS, DATCOV and, DHMIS training certificate and driver’s license will be an added advantage.
Duties :
Perform monthly data reconciliations and do compliance audit in line with DHMIS SOP. Capture data into different systems according to data specified timelines and data flow policy. Daily capturing and updating of covid data. Assist in timely preparations and submission of required reports based on work plan of the unit.
Capture data on DHIS database and update institutional Health Information Management (HIM) database. Validate data for completeness, correctness, and consistency, maintain electronical and manual records of all data used for reporting. Follow up discrepancy with the relevant service point/ health care provider. Compile minutes of Audit findings and data meetings.
Adhere to strict deadlines and be able to work under pressure. Function as part of facility HIS committee and perform any other duties as delegated by the supervisor.
