POST: Cleaner vacancy post at Leratong Hospital
Requirements :
- Grade 8-11 or equivalent Abet qualification. Experience in the Public Sector hospital environment will be an added advantage. Be able to read and write. Knowledge of operation and care of cleaning equipment. Must be prepared to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
Duties :
Cleaning of clinical and non-clinical areas in the hospital, offices, wards, corridors, boardrooms. Sweeping of floors, removal of general and medical waste, empty and wash bins. Cleaning of patience lockers. Strip and shine floors, preparing boardrooms for events. Vacuuming and shampooing of carpet floors. Washing of windows, scrubbing the floors, safe keeping of machinery and equipment.
Dusting and polishing the furniture. Cleaning of bathrooms, rest rooms, toilets, and basins. Perform other duties allocated by the supervisors. Comply with allocation and the duty roaster. Cooperate when asked to assist in certain areas. Be willing to undergo trainings and development programmes.
